Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a super day, I know I am! It’s super nice weather and Kyler’s been outside playing in the sandbox all morning!
Here is a peek at what we are making at club on Saturday … We are making a Stationary box and 3 3×4 cards. I am going to provide the card stock and the ribbon, so don’t forget your 2 pieces of designer paper. I also decorated post it notes and a band aid tin. The tins are made by Provo craft but can be found at just about any scrapbook store. You don’t have go to Robert’s, but they may be your safest bet if you want to pick one up before then.

I hope you are as excited about this project as I am! We are going to have a super fun time making them!
See you Saturday!

Here is the other card we made at club last Saturday. I had never really tried bleaching before, but saw a tutorial on the SU! demonstrator website and really liked the results, so this is a case of that tutorial. I love the effect of the bleach. You know I feel that more is more and cards can always use MORE. I also hardly ever only have one layer on my cards, but I thought the bleaching added so much to it that the card looked awesome just the way it was without adding to much.

Hope you all had a super weekend. It snowed at my house … I really, really wish spring would come and stay instead of coming and going.
Have a super day Ladies!

Ok – so it has been FOREVER since I have posted. I apologize for that, but hopefully you understand that when life gets busy, family comes first
I have lots of fun things to show you! But first thing up on the agenda is what we made for club last Saturday. One of my ladies requested a class on chipboard, like a year ago, so I finally got around to it last Saturday. Here is what we made, they could choose between the owl or the bird.

After putting the bird together, I think it would have looked A LOT better if had flipped the DSP to the other side … but didn’t think of that until I had everything glued on.
I have been having really bad braxton hicks contractions the last couple of days, so it’s back to laying on the couch for me! I only have about 4 weeks left and I am NOT ready for this baby to come yet so I better take it easy :)
I hope you ladies have a super weekend!

Last weekend my Mom came over to help me make these. (Thanks Mom!) We are throwing a bridal shower for my brother’s fiance and this is what I came up with for the invites.

I probably could have done a better job with blanking out the address and phone number on this picture, but this is what you get … sorry!
Anyways … I really like how they turned out. What do you think?
They are relatively simple, but when you have to mass produce them you don’t want anything too hard to make. I also must say the Cricut is totally worth it! I have used this thing a lot lately! I used it to cut out the flower embellishment.
Have a super day Ladies! I am super excited for tomorrow! I think I might go to the Scrapbook expo and it’s my 5 year anniversary. Should be a really nice day!

Where has she been? First off, I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted, but it’s been quite the month! We have been SO sick! I had one of the worst colds I have ever had and Kyler got sick too. His temperature was up past 103 and he was coughing so hard he couldn’t breathe. Not fun! And life as usual has been busy. And in the middle of all of that, my baby turned 2! It’s hard to believe that Kyler is 2, but he is and oh so proud of it! He walks around all day saying he is two and holding up his two little fingers! Super cute!
Here is a little project I made for his birthday. I used my cricut to cut almost everything out. I just cut the pennets out myself, but the scallop, circle, letter and trucks were all cut with the bug. I used 4 different cartridges, for the trucks I used New Arrival and the dump truck part I used the shape from the George cartridge. I used Base Camp for the letters and numbers, George for the circle and Mini monograms for the scallop circle. I do have to say, that I love how it turned out. My inspiration came out the SU catalog, I saw a mini sign that just said BABY and I loved it thought I would expand it to say Happy Birthday Kyler! I used brads to hold it all together, and eyelets where we tacked it into the wall.

Here is a close up for you …

Well, I hope to be back later this week to show you what else I have been busy working on.
Catch you later!

Hey there!
Here are a couple of birthday cards, I totally stole out of the SU catalog. I thought they were super cute and wouldn’t be too hard to make. I made 2 of each card and it only took about a half an hour, so in an hour I had 4 cards. That is SO not like me. It did feel really good to get so many done in such a short time though.

Have a super day!

Hi Ladies!
I had every intention of posting yesterday but let’s just say, it was one of those days! It started at the crack of dawn with one thing after another and it didn’t stop until I went to bed! I’m just glad it’s OVER!

I got the inspiration for this card over on the CuttlebugChallenge website. They challenged some of their designers to create a card with a unique opening. One of the girls used a brad to slide the card open, but since I didn’t have a brad that I liked I used a snap. I always try to make really special cards for Andrew. He’s such a great husband and father and I want to show him how much I appreciate him, so this year here is his valentine card. I used my cricut to cut out the curly bracket for the shape of the card and the inlay. I think I’ve already said this, but I LOVE the Story book cartridge! The lettering and medallion’s are so stinkin’ cool!
Andrew and I are going out for Valentine’s today instead of tomorrow in hopes that we beat the crowds or that there are not as many people out today. We have had (as I am sure you have too) too many experiences waiting for over 2 or 3 hours before you even get seated and I’m here to tell you this humongous pregnant lady is NOT waiting 3 hours to sit down!
LOL!
I hope you all have a super weekend and a really nice Valentines day!

I am so excited! My brother is getting married to THE cutest girl and so I wanted to make them an elegant “congratulations on your engagement” card! I have seen several black and white cards with the baroque motifs set (so I don’t know exactly who to give credit to for the case) and thought it would be perfect for the elegant feel I was trying to go for.

Well, it’s snowing outside and my boys are off to work (Kyler Loves to go to work with Andrew) and I’m sitting in my craft room making cards for my first order … I was so flattered when I was asked to make them and actually get paid to do it
Sounds like the start to the perfect day, don’t you think?
You girlies have a super day!
