Fresh Cut Notes

Posted by emileehathaway on May 30, 2008

Mr. Brown (the ups guy) showed up yesterday and let me tell you what … that’s one of my favorite time of day!  I love it when he brings presents, it’s like Christmas!

SU demo’s were able to preorder these super cute Fresh Cut stamps and 4×4 cards.  These are a preview into the next SU Catalog.  Hostesses can earn this set free next month (starting tomorrow) and customers can order them too.  $20.95 for the set and $5 for the cards.

Anyway, like everything that comes from SU, I LOVE this!  I think the larger stamp is super fun as a background stamp or a focal image.   Here is what I came up with.

I hope everyone has a super weekend and I’ll see you on Sunday for Scrapbook Sunday … for sure this time!

Stamps: Fresh Cut

Still buggin’ … Cuttlebuggin’

Posted by emileehathaway on May 29, 2008

HOLY COW … not three posts in three days!  Something must be wrong … or right?  🙂

Ok – I must say the Swiss dots embossing folder is my FAVORITE! Here is another card from my new fav’s.  This one is super simple, but was really fun to make!  I embossed the top half with the swiss dots folder and the bottom half with the paisly folder with some ribbon tied between the two.

Stamps: Tart and Tangy
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Summer Designer Paper
Ink:  Real Red and Garden Green markers
Goodies:  SAB rubons for the sentiment, ribbon, punches, Cuttlebug folders

I LOVE my cuttlebug!

Posted by emileehathaway on May 28, 2008

Ok – so I have been totally obsessed the last two days with the little bug.  I have a lot of embossing folders, but have hardly used any of them so I thought I would bust ’em out!

Ask anyone I know … I am in LOVE with the Tart and Tangy set and the paper that matches so what better way to start off the day than to use my 2 new favorite things?

I probably should be cleaning…

Posted by emileehathaway on May 27, 2008

So Monday is usually my cleaning day, but since we were out of town for the long weekend I should be cleaning today, but what am I doing?  Sitting in my craft room and surfing the net 🙂  LOL!

Well, here are two easy peasy cards that took 10 minutes (to make both).  I used my cuttlebug to emboss the bottom 2/3 rds of the card and then inked up my new Lovely Labels set.  Love this new set.  It’s super simple but very cute and goes so well with the SU punches.  Love it, Love it, Love it!!

Stamps: Lovely labels
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron

Fell off the face of the Earth?

Posted by emileehathaway on May 27, 2008

Has it really been 3 weeks since I last posted.   Let’s just say that life is worse that super crazy.  It feels like the day just began when I am putting my little guy to bed.  Time Flies when you’re having fun!

Well, I have lots to show you, I have been SUPER busy making stuff, I just haven’t posted anything.  Don’t ask why because I seriously couldn’t say 🙂

So, to make up for it, here are two fun card holder’s.  The first one was last week’s technique lover’s challenge on SCS.  It took me until this weekend to finish it up … Like I said life’s flying by!  🙂

The second box is a card box I found on Dannie Graves blog.  Here is the tutorial.  She has a super fun blog so check her out!

Scrapbook Sunday #8 … Peek-A-Boo

Posted by emileehathaway on May 4, 2008

Can you believe another week has come and gone?  This has been the craziest week ever!  It just feels like time flew by and I have no idea where it went 🙂

It has also been almost a week since I have posted.  I am not sure if I am going to get much posting done this week either, but I may surprise myself.

Here is a super easy 6×6 page.  Once again NO stamping. I have been trying to use some of the other scrapbook supplies besides stamps for my pages.  I LOVE to stamp but I have so many other things I feel guilty not using them!  LOL.

This picture makes my laugh … in our old house Kyler LOVED to play peek-a-boo with the drapes.  He thought it was hilarious to hide under the fabric and look outside.

Paper: So Saffron, Choc Chip, Bashful Blue
Ink: Linen Distress Ink and choc Chip marker
Goodies: Ribbon, Brads, Crate Paper Cowboy series die cuts
