Sweet Tart and Tangy

Posted by emileehathaway on June 24, 2008

Here is a card I made for my neighbor … Of course I used Tart and Tangy, but it’s a sketch from the Sketch 101 class I’m taking.  You already know I love the stamp set, but I really like this card, it’s different from any card I’ve made because it combines two different techniques (pocket and slide).

Hope you like it!

Stamps: Tart and Tangy, So Very
Paper: Summer Picnic, Real Red, textured WW
Ink: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive markers
Goodies: Ribbon, Punches and paper Piercer

Scrapbook Sunday #11 … SNOW DAY

Posted by emileehathaway on June 22, 2008

Here is one of the sketch’s from my Got Sketch 101 class.  I love these pictures!! Last winter we had a REALLY bad snow storm it measured anywhere from 15 to 24 inches in our driveway.  So instead of shoveing Andrew and Kyler shoveled our walks and driveway with Andrew’s mini excavator.  It was super fun to watch these two in the equipment.  Kyler loves being in it and spending time with his dad.  And the neighbors were super jealous because shoveling only took 30 minutes instead of hours!

Stamps:  Snow burst
Paper:  Bashful Blue, DP from Bali Breeze and Summer Picnic
Ink:  White Craft Ink
Goodies:  Chipboard, iridescent ice embossing powder, ribbon, punches and bashful blue brads

it’s kinda hard to see in the pics but all the plain blue space on the pages are stamped with snowflakes and then embossed in the iridescent ice ep.

Paper:  Summer Picnic, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink:  Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red

Missing in Action

Posted by emileehathaway on June 16, 2008

Sorry I have been MIA, It’s been a super busy weekend!  Club was Saturday so I have pics to show you what we made, plus the father’s day card I made for Andrew.  But instead of taking pictures and posting I have been reading 4:50 from Paddington by Agatha Christie and let me say … You will NEVER guess ‘who done it’!  I was totally taken aback, but she (Ms. Christie) always does that to me!  LOL.  If you are looking for a super murder mystery this is fantastic!

She also has another blog that has weekly sketch challenges …  I don’t think it’s going to be updated for several weeks because of the class that she is giving, but you can look at past posts.

Paper:  Provo Craft Slab
Goodies:  Chipboard, Ribbon, Pewter Hardware, Cricut for the letters

P.S.  Sorry for the poor photos the last couple of days … it’s been super cloudy and I can’t get a good shot!
