Scrapbook Sunday #16

Posted by emileehathaway on January 17, 2009

Hello Ladies!  Hope you all are enjoying a nice relaxing weekend!  I know I am.  I locked myself in my craft room for about 4hours today and got A LOT done!  Then my sweet husband took me out to dinner!  We went to Olive Garden … YUMM!!!  I ate WAY WAY WAY too much!  I’m sitting here still feeling full!

I’m posting Sunday’s Scrapbook page a couple of hours early because I’m not sure if I’ll have time to post tomorrow.  We have church from 1-4 (not my favorite time) and the morning flys by and once you get home, it’s time for dinner, bath time and then bedtime for Kyler and Mom is usually not far behind!  🙂

Isn’t this such a fun page.  I love these pictures, but it’s also a super fun and easy layout.

Scrapbook Sunday #14

Posted by emileehathaway on December 28, 2008

Hi Everyone!

I sincerely hope that every single one of you had a wonderful Christmas!  I know I certainly did!  It was so much fun to watch my little man open up his presents.  It was so wonderful to see him so excited, a much better time that last year.  He was only 8 months old last year at Christmas and simply cried when it was time to open presents.  This year, he didn’t understand exactly what was happening.   He doesn’t understand Santa or where or why there were gifts, but he knew who Joseph, Mary and the baby Jesus were (aka Da da, Mama, and baba).  That’s what is really important though.  He was completely enthralled with staring at the nativity, it was all I could do to keep him from touching or breaking them.  🙂  Too Fun!

One of the gifts I made this year was a calendar for my mom (the SU! desktop calendar), here is one of the 6×6’s I made for it.

Baby Girl Flip Book

Posted by emileehathaway on September 30, 2008

I know … I know … I was so good for 3 days and then I totally fell off the wagon 🙂  If only I had time to finish all the projects I start and then had more time to post them 🙂

I have 2 cousins having baby girls and I saw this flip book a while back and knew this would be the perfect baby gift!  Who wouldn’t want ONE place to store all the fun, special little things that you get in preparation for having a baby, plus it can be a little brag book.  Here is the link to Amy Celona’s blog where I found this book.  As you can see from the pictures this book has SO many layers, but that is what is so fun about it!

Thanks for stopping by and looking!  If I can I’ll try to finish a Halloween project tonight and post it in the morning!

Scrapbook Sunday #13

Posted by emileehathaway on September 21, 2008

I am so happy to posting another scrapbook Sunday!  I have wanted to sit down and scrapbook for a long time, but just haven’t either found the time or inspiration.  🙂  Here is what I came up with today.  I love this picture of my little guy!  He is so stinkin’ Cute!  But I know all parents think that of their little ones.  It’s hard to tell in this particular picture, but we were getting ready to go to the baseball game last year on the 24th and Kyler is helping Mom fold laundry.  He was actually laying in the laundry basket when Itook this picture.  Somehow probably with the help of his dad he climbed in there to relax with all the nice warm clothes out of the dryer.  That is actually the one thing I LOVE about scrapbooking!  I probably would totally forget that memory if I had not grabbed my camera and hurried and taken a picture.

I stole the layout from MichelleTX on splitcoast.  I really really like the layout and I could use my new scalloped edge punch so I figured it was the best of both worlds!

Have a super Sunday, stay tuned, I have another post ready for you … it’s of a modified element I made a while back (but didn’t have a camera to take a pic and show you.)

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Sunday #11 … SNOW DAY

Posted by emileehathaway on June 22, 2008

Here is one of the sketch’s from my Got Sketch 101 class.  I love these pictures!! Last winter we had a REALLY bad snow storm it measured anywhere from 15 to 24 inches in our driveway.  So instead of shoveing Andrew and Kyler shoveled our walks and driveway with Andrew’s mini excavator.  It was super fun to watch these two in the equipment.  Kyler loves being in it and spending time with his dad.  And the neighbors were super jealous because shoveling only took 30 minutes instead of hours!

Recipe
Stamps:  Snow burst
Paper:  Bashful Blue, DP from Bali Breeze and Summer Picnic
Ink:  White Craft Ink
Goodies:  Chipboard, iridescent ice embossing powder, ribbon, punches and bashful blue brads

it’s kinda hard to see in the pics but all the plain blue space on the pages are stamped with snowflakes and then embossed in the iridescent ice ep.

Posted by emileehathaway on June 1, 2008

Hi Everyone!  I hope you all are having a Super Weekend.  I know I am!  We are just about to put the steaks on the grill, but before we do that I thought I would hurry and post.  This is what we made at club last month.  I must say I love the All in the Family set.  It is super cute and fun to use and a really good chance to do some good old fashion coloring with my markers!  LOL 🙂

I stole the layout from the SU catalog, this was their idea for the set and I liked it so much I did almost the same thing.

Well it’s time for dinner … we’ll see you tomorrow!

Recipe
Stamps:  All in the Family, Make it Count
Paper:  Pumpkin Pie, Almost Navy, Whisper White
Ink:  Almost Navy, Lots of Markers 🙂
